Step 1:  Take your doctor recommended vitamins/medications.

My personal list:

Metformin 500 MG per day for now.

Vitamin D3 5000 MG UI per day.

 

Step 2:  Limit all foods that are bad in large quantities.

Examples of my favorites:

Mashed potatoes and gravy.

Candy: Chocolate, Hot Tamales, etc.

Pasta.

Bread.

Ice Cream.

Soda.

I would like it noted that I haven’t had a soda since last August or September!

 

Step 3:  Be more active, exercise!

The idea is to start out slow and not overexert myself, that way I don’t get angry or exhausted and stop.

Examples of easy workouts:

30 minutes on treadmill.

30 minutes of swimming.

30 minutes of walking your dog.

A few sit-ups here and there.

Walking up and down stairs a few times if you can’t get to the gym.
