I am the first to admit to having a sweet tooth and absolutely adoring chocolate. Yum. But alas…I need to be good, and so do you! Great idea! Eat fruit instead, it can help that sweet tooth and sometimes you can trick yourself into thinking it is a special treat.
Strawberries are awesome! you can cut them into thin slices and then put them in the freezer for a little while. When you munch on them they are delicious and cold like ice cream, and if you need that extra sweet taste add a small bit of stevia or truvia. This idea can be used on all sorts of different fruits.
You could also add a little sprinkle of cinnamon if you like. While growing up my mother would make a big dinner with white rice, and she would always make extra so she could snitch some and put it in a cup with a little milk and cinnamon – add a packet of stevia or truvia and you have a sweet tasty little treat.
